MORNING MEAL & ROUTINE
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS:
They eat around 8:00, 8:15am.
1.5 scoops of dry food for Tina in the steel slow-feed bowl,
mixed with 1-2 tablespoons of wet food (& a little water).2.5 scoops of dry food for Ellen in a normal steel bowl,
mixed with 2-3 tablespoons of wet food (& a little water).Put Tina’s food down first (left of stove),
Ellen’s food down second (near fridge).
Then hang out in kitchen (to guard Tina from eating Ellen’s food AND to leave Ellen alone, which she prefers). Ellen will NOT walk through the kitchen. She will run the long way thru the living room.NOTE: If you’re having trouble getting Ellen to eat (after you’ve tried presenting it a couple x), take her & food into another room, close the door, and sit/ignore her. Eventually she will eat it. Or just wait 1 hr/try again. Sometimes I literally spoon feed her, lol.
Let them outside after they’re both done eating. They can be alone in the yard as long as you keep an eye on them/let them back in when they ask.
If it’s not a trail day for Ellen, the two of them will cuddle on the couch with you! Tuck a blanket under their chins & they’ll chill until 10 or 11am, when they’ll need some exercise.
Please replace water dishes once a day!
